Exhibition: Zeitz MOCAA "Home Is Where the Art Is"
Art made, owned and loved by Capetonians!
22 October 2020 - 10 January 2021
After a closure of more than seven months, Zeitz MOCAA is proud to reopen with an unprecedented, democratic celebration of art belonging to and made by the people of Cape Town. Assembled through an open submission process, this group exhibition of more than 1,600 artworks includes the art of children, professional and amateur artists, collectors, and others from across the city of Cape Town.
What an epic initiative and I am so very excited and honoured to have one of my favourite artworks, "Emotional Rush" be included! This year has thrown some massive curve balls, and I am humbled to have been included in two major dream exhibition locations, i.e. Art@Africa Gallery as part of the "All Womxn Matter" exhibition and now as part of the Zeitz MOCAA - Museum of Contemporary Art Africa's "Home Is Where the Art Is" exhibition.
Framed 400x400 limited edition fine art photographic print,
printed in Hahnemuhle German Etching paper.
A fun day hanging out for a few hours in the beautiful Casa Labia garden in Muizenberg on the most perfect day. Bumping into artist friends from the Deep South Community Art Exhibition 2019, as well as making new artist friends!
