Exhibition: Portrait of Souls
I am very honoured and excited to be part of the upcoming "Portrait of Souls" exhibition hosted by She.Clix at the Anstey Gallery in Johannesburg alongside these amazing local artists from across the country:
She.Clix are an all-female company that encourages women in photography and art. They function as a platform to encourage emerging female photographers, as well as assisting promoting established ones in other platforms. They host and organize photographic exhibitions as well as other forms of art/events.
For me, the most exciting part of this exhibition is that it focuses on conceptual fine art portraiture, which is my truest passion. This is an exhibition that will change people’s perception and challenge their notion of life; in this contemporary world of social upheaval, this represents a tranquil imagination of photography in one gallery. She.Clix starts as a series of 6 female photographers that will give you conceptual insight to graphic stories of their interpretation of the world through their lens.
The exhibition opens on 28 May 2017 in Johannesburg and will be showing for two weeks. Further details are as follows:
The Anstey's Building | 59 Joubert Street

Sadly, I will not be able to attend the opening, or visit the exhibition. So if you pop in to the exhibition, please please send me some photographs of the exhibition space :) :)
