Gallery Representation: Knobs & Tassels
I am so excited and honoured to announce my first gallery representation with Knobs & Tassels.
Obtaining gallery representation was a big dream of mine for 2015. In 2014 I co-hosted five exhibitions as part of a collective together with the inspiring Claire Gunn Photography and Natascha van Niekerk Photography. Besides creating an awareness around conceptual fine art portraiture, our goal for hosting these exhibitions was to ultimately aim for gallery representation. One opportunity flowed into the next, believing and sharing the passion for our work and having the courage to take some massive risks, has all lead us to Knobs & Tassels.
Knobs & Tassels is a young and strangely wonderful gallery hidden in the heart of Cape Town’s new creative hub, Woodstock. Blake and Danielle, who are the wonderful team behind K&T, are truly passionate about supporting and promoting individual local artists. They represent a network of underground artists, selling their work and promoting their skills both in their gallery and by generating opportunities for them. I look forward to growing and developing with them!
